Honest Review of the Sephora Midnight Wishes Eyeshadow Palette

As an avid fan of eyeshadows, I am always open and excited to try new eyeshadows. I am so lucky to be gifted this palette from a good friend of mine, and I was looking forward to test this palette. This eyeshadow palette contains 16 varying eyeshadows, from matte to shimmer.

The Packaging

This palette offers a sleek and chic look. The font of the palette is really fun and has a slightly holographic effect. The package has a sleek navy blue and gold theme, which works well with the midnight, smokey theme.

The Eyeshadows

The eyeshadows are arranged in a single row from light to dark order. They have a small, fun star print in the eyeshadow pans, accenting the midnight colors. There are a variety of shimmer and matte shades, perfect for creating any smokey or nude look. Towards the end of the row, the colors shift from a hue of browns and nudes into shades of blue and purple. This palette offers plenty of eyeshadows to add effect and flare into any look. When I swatched the shades, I noticed some colors showed up more or less than others, obviously the lighter shades and highlight color showing up the least, meant for highlighting and adding a subtle shimmer, not a bold and full color. The eyeshadows were very creamy and had a nice formula, making it super easy to apply and add to.

In Conclusion, this palette is great for beginners to use and for a fan of smokey looks to add to their collection. The 16 shades overall are well formulated and creamy, and I only had trouble with a few of the shades. This was gifted to me, and I can see why! This is a perfect, affordable gift for any makeup lover!
